Student Blog Post: This morning, we set up and presented our book reports to parents, guardians and students in the gymnasium. Students had an opportunity to share their book reports with a total of 7 classes.  After recess, we counted all of the votes for our graphing unit with the other Grade 4 classes. We asked ourselves important questions about the data that we collected through the vote. The winner of the tally was the colour blue, which was the genre fantasy

Then, we had a lesson on sight words and students worked on their word games for their learning buddies.  After recess, we had a lesson in Social Studies and then students worked on their Alberta brochure project. Presentations start next week and we took the time to review how our presentations should be delivered and what the final book report should look like. Then, students worked in groups for their sight word games for learning buddies on Friday. After recess, we had a presentation from Elder Randy and a group of students from the Aboriginal Centre.
