Student Blog Post:
This morning, we did our morning routine and then we practiced our final centre in Daily 5 program called the writing centre. Students were asked to work on a reflection outlining writing concepts taught in the first month of school. We will begin our Daily 5 program tomorrow where students will rotate through each centre during our literacy block.

After recess, we worked on our Book Report example. We read our novel and took notes. Then, we had library period to exchange our books with Mme. N. We picked books that we will be using for our class book report.

This afternoon, we discussed Orange Shirt Day and the importance of reflecting on residential schools in Canada. After, we had music period with Mme. Edgett. Then, we read our English Novel Study, Wonder by RJ Palacio. Then, we continued our work for Orange Shirt Day, creating our own orange shirts to acknowledge and recognize First Nations history.
