Student Blog Post:
This morning, we did our morning routine and then we had French period. In French, we discussed the Daily 5 centres expectations. Today, we practiced Daily 5 centre "Reading by myself". We are slowing building up our reading stamina. We had a lesson and activity on syllables. Bringing sounds together with the titles of our books we are reading.

 After recess, we had math period. In math, we had a lesson and an activity on symmetry. We looked around the classroom for things that are symmetrical. Then, we had physical education with M. Trevor to prepare us for the Terry Fox Run on Friday.

 This afternoon, we read "The Golden Rule" with connections to our virtue of the month. Then, students were asked to write about the message of the book. Then, we had a lesson in Social Studies on coordinates and directions. Finally, we had music with Mme. Edgett.
