Student Blog Post:
This morning, we went to Mme. Emily and Mme. McTague's class to read "Julie et le bonhomme sept heures". After, we worked on our morning routine.

After recess, we had physical education with M. Trevor. Then, we had a lesson on Orange Shirt Day by recognizing residential schools and we worked on our orange shirts. Then, we discussed our novel study "Les cauchemars du petit geant" and the elements of a story.

This afternoon, we had a lesson in Social Studies, where we continued to talk about geography in Alberta. Students worked in groups to talk about facts and information they know or want to know in Alberta. Then, we had a lesson in Science on plants. We had a science experiment with seeds. Students examined seeds and then we had a look at a few different types of plants around the school. We are growing a spider plant in class and had a chance to see what a full grown plant looks like. Students looked at the process of the plant growth. Finally, in English Language we read two chapters in Wonder. We had a lesson on how to take notes in English, specifically while reading a novel.
