This morning, we did our morning routine. Then, we reviewed our expectations for our Daily 5 in Literacy Program. Finally, we had our Daily 5 Literacy Program for the very first time. Students were divided into 5 centres and had 20 minutes to complete each centre. At the end of the session.
After recess, we had a lesson in measurement reviewing perimeter and looking at area. Then, we had physical education where we worked in groups working on active communication skills.
This afternoon, we continued our work on our novel study in French. This type of modeling will help students with their own book report over the next couple of weeks. Students worked on their notes and began writing the elements of the story to help them with our book report. Students cleaned up the classroom, we worked in groups for our Blogger post and then students headed off to music.
