 Student Blog Post:
This morning, we had a presentation from Stream the Dreams organization. Students had an opportunity to learn about the work Stream of Dreams does in Alberta and around Canada. After, students had the opportunity to paint a fish that will be hung up on our school fence. 

 After recess, we worked on our French Novel Study, we had a lesson on note taking and the elements of the story. Then, we had a lesson in math on 2D et 3D objects and how to calculate the perimeter and area of those objects.

 This afternoon, we had a lesson in Social Studies. We looked at the Alberta flag and the different parts of the flag and their meaning (mountains, prairie fields, blue skies etc) . Students drew their own Alberta flag. Then, we had Science. Students worked in groups to review the 5 steps of plant growth. Then, as a class we discussed each step in detail. Finally, we had a mini lesson on note taking and story elements in English Language Arts. Students took notes for our English novel study "Wonder".
