**FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES TO HOT CHOCOLATE AND CROISSANTS?
On Wednesday, February 12, students will be provided with hot chocolate and croissants as part of our celebration of French Canadian food and culture.  If you DO NOT want your child to eat this snack, please send me an email to let me know prior to Tuesday, Feb 11 and send a special snack for your child to eat on Feb. 12.  (Thank you to VASPFS for funding this treat for the school!)

Student Blog Post:
This morning, we read silently, we Mme. Amanda's class come in and ask us questions about their math unit. Then, we completed an Accountability Survey by Alberta Education. Finally, we had a lesson in French Language Arts.

After recess, we had physical education. Then, R. S. Z. M. and M. presented a Carnaval cheer for the class. Then, students worked on a math number sense flip book and completed a grammar activity in French.

This afternoon, we worked on a storyboard activity in English Language Arts. Students mapped out the important details of our novel study by Judy Blume. Then, we practiced our cheer for the pep rally tomorrow. Finally, we had a presentation in Social Studies on a region of Alberta.
