Student Blog Post:
This morning, we did our morning routine and then had a lesson in French Language Arts. Afterwards, students then worked on their rough copies of their book reports for a novel study we just completed. We ate snack and then went outside.
After recess, we had physical education. Students worked on their hockey stick skills. Then, we had a lesson in Mathematics. Students worked on their 3-4 digit addition and subtraction. Finally, students worked in their Daily 3 centre work.
This afternoon, we had a lesson in Social Studies for Black History Month. We read a book on Viola Desmond, an African Nova Scotian and discussed her important part in Canadian history. Then, we worked on our Science Simple Machines project. Finally, we cleaned up and completed our Blogger post in groups and as a class.
