**FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES TO HOT CHOCOLATE AND CROISSANTS?
On Wednesday, February 12, students will be provided with hot chocolate and croissants as part of our celebration of French Canadian food and culture.  If you DO NOT want your child to eat this snack, please send me an email to let me know prior to Tuesday, Feb 11 and send a special snack for your child to eat on Feb. 12.  (Thank you to VASPFS for funding this treat for the school!)

Student Blog Post:
This morning, we did our daily routine and then we had a lesson in French Language Arts on pronouns and determinants. Students created a game using four words that they found in a dictionary. 

After recess, we had a few students who presented their Social Studies project. Then, we had a lesson in Mathematics Number Sense. Students worked on a mini project to reinforce what we have been covering over the past few weeks. 

This afternoon, students had an opportunity to catch up on some work that they had not yet finished. We worked in English Language Arts, Visual Arts & Science. Finally, we cleaned up and worked in groups to complete our Blogger post.
